Metro 1 named Ximena Cho director of the firm's philanthropic arm, Metro 1 Community. Cho will lead the company's community relations projects. She has volunteered with Lotus House, Miami Rescue Mission, Best Buddies and other charities.
Douglas Elliman hired Joelle Oiknine as senior director of luxury sales in the company's Miami Beach office. Oiknine left ONE Sotheby's International Realty, where she specialized in luxury residential real estate. She has sold units at Turnberry Ocean Colony, Trump, Miami Beach Edition, Icon South Beach, St. Regis Bal Harbour and the W South Beach.
Meanwhile, ONE Sotheby's has hired Jimmy Cunningham as a Realtor associate. Cunningham will focus on the Broward market, where he was previously a RE/MAX Realty associate. At RE/MAX, he had a sales production of $9.5 million in 2015.
Dan Dratch and Tony Gannacone were hired as investment associates at Franklin Street, a commercial real estate firm based in Plantation. Dratch and Gannacone will specialize in multifamily deals across South Florida, working closely with regional managing partner Greg Matus.
Dratch was previously with CoStar Group, where he was a sales executive. Gannacone was a managing director and later vice president of strategic sales and acquisitions at NextGen Coal. – Katherine Kallergis
