Tomlinson and husband of one of Jills tussle at Bal Harbour event

The saga between embattled Realtor Kevin Tomlinson and power brokers the Jills just took another turn.

Tomlinson and the husband of Jill Eber reportedly got into a brief tussle at a formal event at the Bal Harbour Shops last weekend, which had to be broken up by police.

According to a police report cited by GossipExtra columnist Jose Lambiet, Tomlinson and his date were schmoozing at the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis fundraiser at the shopping center last Friday.

The two were then reportedly approached by Seth Nachman, husband of Jill Eber.

Tomlinson gave this narrative to Bal Harbour police: Nachman grabbed one of Tomlinson’s hands and squeezed hard with a “crazy look in his eyes,” according to Lambiet’s column.

He backed Tomlinson up against a koi pond and said Tomlinson would regret going forward with his complaint against the Jills with the Miami Association of Realtors.

Tomlinson’s date, Trudy Courey, tried to intervene and was allegedly pushed to the ground. She called for help until police came.

Nachman disputed the report to Lambiet but hung up without elaborating.

No arrests were made because police didn’t see the incident, according to the column.

Last year, Tomlinson was arrested during an extortion sting set up by Miami Beach police. He had accused the Jills, a Coldwell Banker real estate headed by Jill Eber and Jill Hertzberg, of manipulating data on Miami’s Multiple Listing Service as a way to hide homes that had stagnated on the market.

In the midst of this controversy, Tomlinson allegedly tried to have the Jills pay him $800,000 to keep quiet about the manipulations.

Since news of the saga broke, the Miami Association of Realtors has added a $5,000 fine for MLS manipulations — though they made no comment over whether it was related to the controversy. [Miami Herald] — Sean Stewart-Muniz

Correction: A previous version of this article incorrectly stated Nachman said Tomlinson would regret attempting to extort the Jills. He instead said Tomlinson would regret moving forward with his complaint against the Jills with the Miami Association of Realtors, according to published reports.
